Step in

The door closes behind you.

The room, three arched lit niches, leather chairs, brass inlay in the terrazzo floor

The room

Old manners,
modern edges.

A 1920s club room that happens to cut hair.

What it is made of

Things you can touch.

Warm, close, a bit dark. Three chairs under arched mirrors, a lounge by the glass, an espresso machine along the far wall. Nothing themed, nothing that shouts. Older gentlemen after a proper shave and younger men after a sharp fade, one room, both welcome.

Brass left unlacquered, so it goes soft with age.

  • FloorPale terrazzo, with a brass inlay from the centre of the room
  • WallsWarm plaster, dark brick, brass reveals
  • Light2700K throughout, nothing clinical
  • HeightThree metres, and the room uses it
A steaming hot towel and an open straight razor on the arm of a leather chair

The shave

Hot towel, open blade.

At the chair, the old way. It takes as long as it takes.

House calls

We bring the chair to you.

To the villa, or onto the boat. The whole kit travels, and so does the hot towel.
